We encourage all CIAO members to attend the San Francesco di Paola Festa i Famiglia on August 8th and 9th on the Casa Italia grounds. We would like to have a commanding Calabresi in America presence at Sunday’s procession, where we will honor Calabria’s patron saint, San Francesco di Paola. Please mark your calendars and look forward to more detail in next month’s newsletter.
All members should have received a separate mailing regarding the Calabresi in America Organization Scholarship. We would like to remind all that scholarship applications and applicable documentation must be received by the scholarship committee and postmarked by August 1, 2009. If you have any questions, please call chairperson Silvana Turano.
