Our annual Festa Della Famiglia – San Francesco di Paola was held August 7th – 9th. What a fabulous turn out it was. The heat and the five minute down pour of rain didn’t stop our faithful believers from coming and enjoying this great event. A special thanks to La Societa San Francesco Di Paola and all the people who help in the biggest event of the year.
 
On Tuesday, September 1st, we will be holding Nomination Night/General Meeting. It will be held in the Chandelier Room at 7:00 p.m. Joe Russo, the nominating chairman, will be presenting a slate approved by the board. Nominations from the floor will also be taken that evening.   Your participation will be greatly appreciated. Please call Albert Belmonte to reserve your spot.
 
Its vacation time again. Our traveling group will be leaving for Italy on September 12th and will be returning on September 26th. CIAO would like to wish a very fun and safe trip to all
 
Please save the dates for our annual Pumpkin Patch. This year our family event will be held on October 3rd and 4th. Be sure to bring your family and enjoy the fun festivities. Enclosed is a very detailed flyer on all the specific events happening over the festive weekend. Please read all the activities being offered and come join the fun.

A Few Thoughts for Some Members:
CIAO would like to send our deepest condolences to the family of Ida Savidas on the passing of her sister. CIAO would also like to wish a speedy recovery to John Tagliaferro and Maria Baldo. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. To report incidents of care and concern about our club members, please contact our board member Rosemarie Caiafa.
